The first and second photos show the Fox Paulistinha in Brazil, since 1992, recognized as a breed by FCI with the name of Terrier Brasileiro. The fourth photos shows tipical Terriers in Norwegian.

Our objetive is to try to find Terrier like these, in different parts of the world. Our thesis is this one: During the period of great navegations ( centuries XV to XIX) , to conquer the seas and new lands : Portugueses, Englishes, Dutches, Spanishes, etc. use Terriers in their ships, specialized as rat hunters. With this qualifications they protect the merchandise. Slowly they reproduce in land, were used in the aduanas and conquered the heart of the natives. We have them now in many parts of the world, adapted to the new environmental. Look the photos! You have also Terriers in Japan ( Japan Fox Terrier), the Rat Terrier, the Jack Russell Terriers, the Toy Fox Terriers, etc. We saw them also in New Zealand, Scandinavian. Russia, Chile ...

Please, help us. Send your messages and photos. Thank you.
